Above Me

To love Jesus above all does not mean loving others less. It means allowing Him to teach us how to love them rightly.

When Jesus is first, our love becomes purer: we love without possessing, serve without seeking reward, forgive without keeping count, and remain faithful even when love becomes difficult.

Jesus is not one love among many. He is the light by which every love is understood and the measure by which every love is chosen.

Only when we love Him first do we learn to love others truly.
