Spirituality of the Scapular of the Sacred Heart
The Scapular of the Sacred Heart is a reminder to live united with the Heart of Jesus and to respond to His love with love.
It invites us to:
- Trust in Jesus’ love, especially in times of weakness and suffering.
- Make reparation through prayer, sacrifice, and acts of love.
- Belong completely to Jesus, allowing Him to guide our thoughts, words, and actions.
- Imitate the Heart of Jesus by being humble, merciful, obedient, and loving.
- Renew our “yes” to God each day, following the example of Mary.
The Scapular is more than a devotional object. It is a call to deepen our relationship with Christ, trust in His mercy, and allow our hearts to become more like His Sacred Heart.
