when sheep refuse to become wolves

One might think that courage comes from becoming stronger than one’s enemies. Jesus offers another path.

He never promises that His disciples will become wolves capable of defeating wolves. Instead, He asks them to remain sheep.

Why?

Because the true strength of the Gospel is not the power to overpower others but the power to remain faithful without becoming what we oppose.

The world often teaches us that survival requires compromise, retaliation, or becoming harder than those who hurt us. Jesus teaches the opposite. Keep your innocence. Keep your integrity. Keep your gentleness. Add wisdom, but never lose purity.

This is possible because our confidence does not come from ourselves. It comes from the One who sends us and from the Spirit who speaks within us.

The deepest miracle in this passage is not that Christians survive persecution. It is that they remain recognizably Christ-like in the midst of it.

When hatred fails to make love hate, when violence fails to make goodness cruel, when lies fail to corrupt truth—then the Kingdom of God is already present.

The victory of the disciple is not merely to endure suffering, but to emerge from it still bearing the face of the Good Shepherd.

Its good to read like this story or group of sentences.. it’s enlighten my day.
I really believe too, that the true power is the one who controls his self than the one who shout and shout where he utter words that are not necessary..when there is conflict or fight in a workplace, family or friends misunderstanding!

Thank you! I really believe that too. Misunderstandings happen to all of us, but the people who can manage their emotions in those moments are the true peacemakers.
